Bourgas

Bourgas coal basin is located in the southeastern part of Bulgaria. Two villages are situated in the vicinity of the coalmines – Cherno more and Rudnik and are declared as mining sites. They expanded in time and at the moment are almost merged.
Cherno more and Rudnik villages are the possible minewater consumers. They are under the administration of the Bourgas Municipality – Bourgas city (224 000 inhabitants), located at a distance of 14 km south of them on the Black sea coast.
The inhabitants of Cherno more village are about – 2300 inhabitants (2003 year) and these of Rudnik village – 3600 inhabitants (2003 year). Water temperature of the mineral springs in Rudnik is about 23oC.
Potential consumers in these villages are the buildings of local Council, school, kindergarten and polyclinic. The major activity in the two villages is agriculture.
